Wind Power

Currently Zephyr Electric is developing technologies to increase energy extraction in lower speed wind regimes. We are also offering several 150 kw turbines to be used at educational institutions/museums for both energy production and learning purposes. Some institutions may be able to participate in a net metering program. When the turbine is running at full power output any extra power is pumped back into the grid. Yes, the electric meter does run backward!

Solar Power

Zephyr Electric is working in conjunction with our associate company, Sunbeam Electric, on combined wind and solar power applications. Sunbeam Electric is developing advanced solar power systems that will find wide applications in medium to large structures . Using a combination of the latest technologies to maximize renewable energy use, higher efficiencies and cost reductions are achieved.
